Don't Starve by Klei Entertainment - Not Playable - Mod available

I hoped was would be a great touch PC game.   In fact, some touch aspects were better than the mouse, like running.   However a small number of critical interactions didn't work via touch, like placing campfire.   While I agree with the Metacritic score of 79, sadly I can only give Don't Starve's touch interface a 'Not Playable'.  A forum user is working on a mod to give the game a touch interface.  Perhaps this could be promising.

Hearthstone by Blizzard - 3 of 5

While Hearthstone doesn't directly support touch on Windows 8, the interface is clearly designed for touch, including iOS, and I only experienced minor issues playing it.  I'll give it a 3 of 5.

Civilization V by Firaxis - 5 of 5

Even two years ago, Firaxis was putting alot of support behind touch.  Firaxis released a special patch to enable touch, and it works great!  I give Civ 5's touch interface a 5 of 5!

I just paid way too much for a laptop with a touch screen, only to find out that very little *GOOD* software supports touch on the PC.   When I find a gem, I'm going to post about it here.  Maybe someone will let me know about something I've missed?  Maybe enough followers will convince developers to create more?   Let's find out.
